6 nights and 7 days where we alternate between different activities all related to sailing, water and the outdoors.

8:00 – Breakfast

9:00 – Observation of the boat

9:15 – Arming the boat

9:45 – Main knots

10:15 – Environmental observations

10:20 – Wetsuit and life jacket preparation

10:30 – Outing in the water

10:45 – Example of in-water exercise:

• weight distribution
• use of rudder
• crew position
• rudder operation
• leeward sailing.

(Depending on weather conditions and the ability of participants, activities will be conducted on kayaks, SUP and windsurfing)

12:15 – Return and safety briefing

12:30 – Lunch break

13:30 – Outing on the water

13:45 – Example of in-water exercise in Sailing:

• direction control
• sail adjustment
• tacking and leaning
• capping and lee
• leeward sailing.

(Depending on weather conditions and the ability of participants, activities will be conducted on kayaks, SUP and windsurfing)

16:00 – Return and dismasting.

What to bring

As far as luggage is concerned, it is important not to forget

• personal water bottle
• comfortable, sportswear (tracksuit, cotton/jeans trousers, T-shirts, sweatshirts, comfortable gym and beach shoes)
• at least 2 swimming costumes
• sun hat
• protective sun cream
• personal hygiene kit and towels
• completed and signed registration form and medical certificate

Equipment provided by the school

Participants will find at their disposal:

• life jackets of different sizes
• neoprene wetsuits

Communications and information

We ask you not to bring video games. Mobile phone use will be limited to a couple of hours in the evening.
For your own well-being, it is compulsory to inform us (before departure) of any ongoing illnesses, medication requirements, ailments, allergies, food intolerances and any peculiarities worth mentioning.
You must also obtain a medical certificate of fitness for non-competitive sports from your attending physician.

Registration

The first thing to do is to write an e-mail to club@campioneunivela.it indicating the week you have chosen (and possibly an alternative) to check first of all the availability of places. You will then receive the registration form and all the instructions for proceeding with the payment of the deposit of €200 per person and then with the balance.

A few days before departure, again by email, you will receive contact details of the accompanying person who will welcome the children in Campione del Garda. A medical certificate for non-competitive sporting activity is required to activate the insurance.

The registration fee includes

• welcome in Campione del Garda
• all meals at the Univela restaurant
• accommodation in multiple rooms for 4 or 5 people with private bathroom
• the sailing course and water activities
• all educational activities and workshops
• a 24-hour companion for day and night surveillance
• Univela and CSEN membership cards
• insurance

The FIV membership card is optional.

Transport to and from Campione del Garda is not included.
