A new way to train by racing

In Campione del Garda, Univela introduces a flexible format designed for clubs, teams and coaches who want real racing situations with a clear purpose: learning, repetition and teamwork. You get professional race management, but with the freedom to shape timing, schedule and content around coaching goals, not around fixed results.

The concept

Teams can start any day of the week and choose a duration from 1 to 7 days. Sessions can run in the morning, afternoon, or both, depending on wind and priorities.

The program is fully custom: from a one day start focused block to a full week camp with a final mini regatta. Races are shorter and more frequent, leaving space between starts for feedback and repetition.

On the water setup

Dedicated race area with GPS robotic marks managed by Univela race team
Race Committee support for signals, timing and course adjustments
Flexible scheduling with pauses and restarts between drills
Optional ranking with prizes and prizegiving
Video support with daily footage for debriefs, so coaches can focus on coaching
With short notice, official recognition by the Italian Sailing Federation is possible, providing full insurance coverage
Safety support with additional RIBs and staff if needed

Secure boat park and trailer storage inside a fenced private area
Lake view rooms directly above the club
Terraferma Restaurant with meal times adapted to wind and racing schedule
Briefing rooms with projector and video playback
Private beach, gym and recovery areas
Reserved parking for vans, trailers and RIBs

What is included

Training Regatta organisation, including robotic marks, race management, safety coordination and prizegiving, is included in the stay for groups of at least 8 athletes lodging at Univela for a minimum of 3 nights on half board basis.

For smaller groups or shorter stays, a technical contribution may apply to cover operational costs.

A social and educational experience

Beyond performance, the format strengthens team spirit and connections between clubs. Video sessions, informal debriefs and time together by the lake often become the moments where learning sticks.
