The RS Quest is the ideal boat for those who want to start from zero and learn all the maneuvers and theory of modern sailing.

Thanks to its stability, safety, and spaciousness, this boat is suitable for both adults and children and can accommodate 2 to 5 people. It is unsinkable and designed to ensure comfort and protection, even for your back. It’s no coincidence that we also use the RS Quest to accompany oncohematology patients from AIL Brescia for sailing therapy experiences.

What You Will Learn in the RS Quest Sailing Course

During the lessons, you will learn how to:

• Be an active crew member and participate in maneuvers

• Rig a complete sailing boat

• Use the jib, mainsail, and gennaker

• Steer with the tiller

• Sail using the trapeze

• Capsize safely and right the boat

• Perform a man overboard recovery

• Enter and exit the harbor independently

• Pick up a mooring buoy

Course Structure

We believe that in 4 lessons of 2 hours each, you can learn all the basics needed to sail independently.

After these lessons, we also offer RS Quest rental for students who wish to continue practicing.

Lessons can be:

• In Italian or English

• With the instructor on board for beginners

• With the instructor on a support boat for more experienced sailors

Included Equipment

• Certified life jacket

• Option to rent a neoprene wetsuit, foul weather gear, or a spray top for cooler days

We make the most of the typical winds on Lake Garda:

• Morning: from 9:00 to 11:00 with the Peler wind

• Afternoon: from 1:30/2:00 pm to 4:00 pm with the Ora wind
