Foiling is exciting precisely because it’s physically more “loaded” than traditional sailing. That’s why we work on protocols, equipment, priorities, and procedures. What to do when conditions change, how to prevent energy draining mistakes, and how to restart cleanly after an incident or a crash.

Understanding the WASZP properly

Trim, components, settings, checks, essential maintenance. Not to turn you into a mechanic, but to prevent a small wrong detail from ruining the session and to keep the boat aligned with your level and goals.

On water rules and a regatta mindset

Right of way, conduct, space management, dealing with traffic and crowded water. Even if you don’t plan to race tomorrow, thinking “like a racer” makes you cleaner, more predictable, and faster.

Speed and efficiency
